History:A species that originated from another universe. The Xindi called them the Guardians. The Triannon called them the Makers and worshipped them like gods, claiming that they could manipulate reality to suit their own purposes. As testament to this are the huge spheres that appear to generate the Delphic Expanse and its anomalies, all of which the Triannon believe the Makers created. The ultimate goal of the Makers appears to be to invade our universe and make it part of their empire. In order to achieve this, they approached the Xindi and coerced them to attack Earth and ultimately destroy it. The Makers knew that in the far future an alliance of the Federation and the Xindi would thwart the invasion at the Battle of Procyon and they wished to preempt this.
In 2154, Enterprise came across a mysterious lifepod drifting in a cloud of ammonium sulphide that was constructed of the same alloys as the spheres. Assuming that being inside was one of the Makers, they are of vaguely humanoid appearance and bald with a pale yellow skin.
