History:
Nothing is known about the appearance of the Markonians, a species native to the Delta Quadrant, because no one from the species appears on tv. However, much can be implied from [Survival Instinct] in which USS Voyager docks at the Markonian Outpost. The Markonians not only possess spacefaring technology which is advanced and at least equal to that of the United Federation of Planets, but they use it to provide a vast spacestation at which everyone is welcome both to trade and to enjoy rest and relaxation facilities. Vessels that moor at the Markonian Outpost often undertake mutual visits of shore leave aboard the Outpost. During Voyager's stay in 2376, approximate stardate 53049.2, chief of security Tuvok objected to the number of visitors and reported several incidents of theft to Captain Janeway.
